离异囚犯盗用朋友的阿联酋ID

被告伪装成其他人，妄图逃脱前夫的指控来防止被捕

迪拜：

一个离异逃犯在借用她朋友的ID伪装成另一个人时，被警方发现她是一个曾被前夫控告的嫌犯并被抓获了。

在2014年11月时，这名33岁的阿联酋女子在被警方拦下时被发现用他人的ID，警方要求其出示个人身份证明。

周日，迪拜法院一审判处该女子三个月缓刑监禁。

这名女嫌犯曾拒不认罪。

审判长MohammedJamal对本案件予以宽大处理，最终延缓三年审理，在此期间，该女子不得再犯。

警方下士称，AlKhawaneej区的审讯室报告了此问题。

该下士说：警方巡逻布控。投诉人[一个阿联酋人]曾打电话报了警，因为他一直在监测被告[他前妻]，因为他想证明她与一个陌生人在一起。我走向那个女人和那个陌生人，并要求他们出示身份证明。被告递给我一个阿联酋的ID。投诉人[前夫]马上告诉我说，这个名字不是她的。他告诉我他前妻的名字不是这个，她给了我ID。被告穿着niqab，所以我不得不叫一个女警过来检查她的身份证。我们一旦发现该女子所持身份证不是她的，我能就马上拘留她。

被告因为向投诉人坦诚了她确实伪装成另一个人这一事实而被传讯。

一名警长称：当我问被告她这是否是她的身份证时，她说是的，并声称这就是她的名字。

报告中并没有提到该前夫为什么要控告他前妻。

周日裁决后15天可提出上诉。

Dubai:Adivorceehasbeenfoundguiltyofimpersonationafterpresentingherfriend’sEmiratesIDtothepolicewhostoppedherfollowingacomplaintfromherex-husband.

The33-year-oldEmiratiwomanusedsomeoneelse’sEmiratesIDwhenshewasstoppedbythepoliceandaskedtopresentherpersonalidentificationpapersinNovember2014.

TheDubaiCourtofFirstInstancehandedtheaccusedathree-monthsuspendedimprisonmentonSunday.

The33-year-oldhadpleadednotguilty.

Citinggroundsofleniency,presidingjudgeMohammadJamalsuspendedtheimprisonmentforaperiodofthreeyearsduringwhichthecrimeshouldnotberepeated.

ApolicecorporalsaidtheoperationsroomwasreportedaboutaprobleminAlKhawaneejarea.

“Apolicepatrolwasdispatched.Thecomplainant[anEmiratiman]hadcalledthepoliceashehadbeenmonitoringthedefendant[hisex-wife]ashewantedtoprovethatshewaswithastranger.Iwalkedtowardsthewomanandthestrangerwhowaswithherandaskedthemforidentificationpapers.ThedefendanthandedmeanEmiratesID.Thecomplainant[theex-husband]immediatelytoldmethatthenamewasdifferent.Hetoldmehisex-wife’snamewasnotthesameasontheIDshehadgivenme.ThedefendantworeaniqabsoIhadtoaskforbackupforapolicewomantocomeandcheckheridentification.WetookthewomanintocustodyonceitwasdiscoveredthattheIDshehadpresenteddidnotbelongtoher,”saidthecorporal.

ThedefendantwascitedasadmittingtoprosecutorsthatshepresentedtheEmiratesIDofanotherwoman.

Apolicesergeantclaimed:“WhenIaskedthedefendantifshewastheowneroftheIDshehadpresented,shesaid‘yes’andclaimedthatitwashernameaswell.”

Recordsdidnotmentionwhytheex-husbandhadcomplainedagainsthisex-wife.

Sunday’srulingremainssubjecttoappealwithin15days.
